He is Camille Chamoun, the captivating figure in Lebanon’s political history in the twentieth century. He was elected MP in eight terms, and was chosen as a minister in 6 governments. During his reign (1952 – 1958) women were granted the right to vote, festivals were established in Baalbek, and the conclusion was a revolution.
